Iraq’s Integrity Commission said it uncovered suspected corruption in Salahaddin’s Traffic Directorate involving more than 2.19 billion dinars and over 56,000 penalty tickets.

Kurdistan24 reported that two officers were detained under court orders, while three other senior officers are being investigated over alleged negligence. The commission said case files were sent to a specialist investigative judge.
