Al Quwa Al Jawiya beat Mosul 3-0 to climb to seventh in the Iraq Stars League, with Haitham Jouini scoring twice.

Al Quwa Al Jawiya surge past Mosul in Rashid Jaber’s first league win

Al Quwa Al Jawiya made a strong return from the league break, defeating Mosul 3-0 in Duhok in round nine of the Iraq Stars League. Tunisian forward Haitham Jouini scored in the 31st and 54th minutes, while Mohammed Jawad added the other goal in the 37th minute.

The result was a first league win under Omani coach Rashid Jaber and lifted Al Quwa Al Jawiya to 11 points and seventh place. Mosul remained on eight points in 15th after a difficult night in front of goal.
