Authorities say 22 suspects held over alleged ISIS plot

Kurdistan security authorities said they arrested 22 people accused of involvement in an alleged ISIS network. The report said the network planned to establish an “emirate” in Sulaymaniyah and carry out an attack in Halabja.
Authorities said weapons and military equipment were seized and that investigations continue. The allegations have not been adjudicated, and the suspects remain entitled to due process.
