Iraq will open a November international tournament in Basra against Lebanon.

Basra four-team tournament format confirmed

The Iraqi Football Association has set the format for a four-team friendly tournament in Basra from November 9 to 17. Iraq, Lebanon, Iran and Palestine will each play twice under a semifinal-and-placement-match structure.

Iraq are scheduled to face Lebanon in one semifinal, while Iran meet Palestine in the other. The event is designed to provide competitive preparation and give coaching staffs another opportunity to assess players.
